Artist Proof: Design Lazy is a passionate fashion designer from Spain. His identity is a mystery but his is designs are a discovery that everyone should make!

Artsprojekt: What inspires your art?
Design Lazy: My art is inspired by everything and anything. Wherever i go, whatever i see or read its just never ending. Someone can look at a tree and see a tree, but i look at a tree and see something that can be used in the next project. I always have a camera or a sketch pad with me just in  case. Really, inspiration comes easily to me and i make the most of it.

AP: What is the relationship between technique and content in your work?
DL: Hmmm, i like this question. I guess there isnt any really, i try very hard to not commit when working on a design.

AP: Describe your first experience of making art and how it affected your life’s journey
DL: I have been creating as long as i can remember, i just grew up up wanting to create or make or design everything for myself, i have an idea of what i like and i try as hard as i can to achieve it and when i do, i just feel better, almost free. As far as making art goes, Im still trying.

AP: Describe your most recent experience of making art.
DL: Well, right now im just about to start a clothing label and shop with my family in spain. Mainly selling screen printed apparel and shoes, very excited about that. All designs will be limited so huge workload but i love doing what i do. I have just finished a design which took me 40 hours and im still not happy with it but i will live.

AP: Take us on a guided tour through a day in your life as an artist
DL: Pretty boring really, alot of business related appointments right now due to our shop being opened soon, but usually its just wake up, shower, coffee and computer….thats pretty much it. I love it really.
