My artistic approach involves mixing the common with the uncommon.
In the case of the Stilllife series, i initially created a plaster sculpture that was rendered
photographically to capture the element of emotion.
The final digital derivation is what could be compared to the
“directors cut“ of a movie production.

To create a sense of soul in what would otherwise be merely a “Stilllife-being“, traditional
sculpture and digital eperimentation have been specially combined as the
foundation for these works. The original sculpture still exists and can be viewed
as originally intended; appearing as if sleeping. The fascination most
viewers have with the sculpture, is that the realism is such that she appears
as if she will open her eyes at any moment. “
