Chris Ryniak was born as a baby in 1976. That’s what it says in his profile on his website. I’ve decided that we’re friends, now, because we both have that in common. Except that I was born ten years later.
Always a fan of the cute and colourful (see, my black heart isn’t made completely of stone), Chris draws things that are right up my alley. I just want to squeeeeeze them. And best of all, he isn’t just an anonymous artist. He has made himself completely accessible and entirely lovable by blogging about his life and future projects. It’s called Eat the Future. He just graduated from being just my friend to my best friend. And he’s coming to Montreal. Maybe I shall be able to stalk BOTH Chris Ryniak and Neil Gaiman this summer. GOD I love having no full-time job. Unless you count stalking, of course; because all of you serious stalkers out there know how time-consuming it can be. We’re just misunderstood, you know? Maybe he’ll find me sexy and create a sculpture inspired by yours truly. And then i can call Alex Trebek and be like, “hey baby, I like your mind, wanna join me and my artist friend here at our sexy party?”
